Jane Bies, BSN, RN, CHHC, CHTP/I, is a nurse leader with more than 30 years of clinical experience across intensive care, emergency services, rehabilitation, and hospice care. Her work reflects a strong foundation in acute medical settings combined with a whole person approach to health and healing.
In addition to her nursing background, Jane is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor. She played a key role in integrating Healing Touch into clinical practice at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, where she continues to provide patient sessions and teach Healing Touch Courses 1 and 2.
Jane’s work expands access to evidence based integrative modalities through hospital programs, community treatments, and professional education, including presentations at the Nebraska Nurses Association annual conference.
Her leadership is shaped by both professional depth and lived experience. Alongside her nursing career, Jane has raised four children with her husband, Tim, and brings the same discipline developed as a former collegiate basketball player and Boston Marathon finisher into her approach to health, resilience, and care.
At the core of Jane’s work is a belief in the body’s innate capacity to heal when supported with safety, compassion, and evidence informed practices. She brings this perspective to Maggie Pop’Nz with a commitment to dignity, balance, and whole person well being.
